Restoring Hope, Rebuilding Lives – Empowering Inmates for a Better Tomorrow

At I Care Global Development Initiative (ICGDI), we believe in second chances and the power of rehabilitation to transform lives. The Prison Support Services (ICGDI-PSS) program is designed to offer holistic support to inmates in correctional centers across Nigeria, with a focus on free legal aid, emotional care, and spiritual guidance. Our goal is to restore dignity, provide hope, and support successful reintegration into society for those who have been incarcerated.
Our program addresses the critical needs of inmates, their families, and correctional institutions by offering targeted support and interventions that foster rehabilitation, reduce recidivism, and promote societal reintegration.

Our Prison Support Services focus on providing free legal services to inmates who lack representation, ensuring fair hearings and timely case processing, while offering emotional and spiritual support through counseling, prayers, and mentorship to help inmates find hope and purpose. We extend care to families by providing emotional counseling and maintaining communication between inmates and their loved ones.

Additionally, we support rehabilitation and reintegration by offering vocational skills training, life skills education, and advocacy for employment opportunities, empowering inmates to transition successfully into society as productive and responsible individuals.
